About us

The Interdisciplinary Laboratory of Image Processing and Analysis (in Portuguese, Laboratório Interdisciplinar de Processamento e Análise de Imagens) is a research group composed of scientists, professors, and students from the Federal Institute of Triângulo Mineiro (Ituiutaba, MG - Brazil), Federal University of São Paulo (São José dos Campos, SP - Brazil), Federal University of Uberlândia (Uberlândia, MG - Brazil), and São Paulo State University (São José do Rio Preto, SP - Brazil).

Our research interests include the following:

• Medical image computing;

• Machine learning;

• Artificial intelligence;

• Computer vision.

Our research projects are mostly applied to histopathology images, white blood cell images, and magnetic resonance imaging.
